During the current week, Cairnmead conducted a building inspection at one of our operational sites. This inspection involved analyzing the building's present condition, enabling our consultant to observe operational aspects that are in place and identify those that require attention.

Among the critical operational requirements are the correct placement of emergency signage and fire equipment, the establishment of a logical emergency route, and ensuring that all requirements conform to SANS regulations. Furthermore, the facilities for disabled persons, including parking, bathroom access, and building access, must adhere to the regulations.

The Twin City offices, located on Main Road in Pretoria, exude a vintage charm with a simple facade and neutral colours that blend well with the lush greenery in the surrounding forestry garden, offering a picturesque view for visitors.

The primary duties of our operational consultants include inspecting both existing structures and newly constructed projects to assess their daily functionality and to provide the necessary emergency procedures in case of an emergency. Cairnmead develops emergency diagrams for our clients and ensures their files remain up to date, including the selection of an emergency team in line with regulations.
