Earlier this year, DHL was featured as one of our site visits, and what a fantastic site. In May of this year, Cairnmead had the opportunity to attend the roof wet of this iconic new addition to Midrand.

Nestled in the heart of Johannesburg's prime industrial hub, this remarkable facility boasts an enviable location with prominent exposure along the N1 highway. Surrounded by industry giants like Stryker, Hilti, Italtile, Westcon, Servest, and CTM, it stands at the centre of all the action. The DHL Express facility is world-class, featuring approximately 6,000m² of office space and 3,000m² of warehouse area. This state-of-the-art complex is designed to deliver unparalleled efficiency and support for DHL's operations, ensuring seamless logistics solutions for their valued customers. With its cutting-edge amenities, this facility is a shining beacon of excellence in the world of express service centres.

Cairnmead Industrial Consultant was privileged to be selected as this project's health and safety specialist. Our paramount responsibility was to provide comprehensive health and safety recommendations to guarantee a construction process free from injuries. As a result, we take immense pride in awarding DHL our esteemed Stamp of Approval for their outstanding work and the safe completion of the project.
