Construction of Menlyn Corner, an office development, began in 2011 and reached completion in 2013. The building is strategically located at the intersection of Lois and Atterbury Roads in Menlyn, Gauteng. The project encompassed a four-level super basement, providing approximately 915 parking bays over a total area of 30,364m², supporting two office blocks.


Building A, spanning five levels and occupying a total area of 17,228m², is home to FNB, while Building B, also spanning five levels and covering a total area of 11,066m², is occupied by Rand Merchant Bank and Growthpoint Properties. The site entrance is accessed from Frikkie de Beer Road. The total value of this office development amounts to R355 million. Additionally, the development has achieved a 4-Star Green Rating from the Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA).

This five-level, multi-tenant office development boasts a contemporary reception lobby on the ground level, access control, 24/7 security with CCTV surveillance, and secure covered basement parking for both staff and visitors. Notable energy-efficient features include a specially designed glass façade, heat pump temperature control, and air-conditioning systems that allow for selective activation in specific zones. The building complies with the energy standards of 2011, including SANS 204 and SANS 10400 Part XA regulations. Moreover, the offices exceed the fresh air requirements outlined in SANS 10400 Part 0, providing 100% more fresh air than previously mandated.
