Streamlined operations
In 2022, the Sparepro Head Office and Warehouse Facilities were constructed with the goal of creating a space that would not lead to any staff being retrenched, but rather strategically positioned within the new warehouse organization for greater business efficiency and task accuracy. The design of the facility prioritized increased capacity and improved efficiency, while also providing an immersive environment for customers and staff. This was achieved while maintaining Sparepro's commitment to innovation and service excellence. The building features a sophisticated and customer-friendly showroom, a warehouse with a superior management system, and optimized offices with streamlined operations.
In compliance with regulations
The design concept incorporated a mechanical and partly automated storage solution to facilitate a narrow-aisle storage system. The bulk storage system occupies over 70% of the warehouse area, with the remaining 20% designated for the picking area. The design allowed for sufficient space for future expansion by utilizing a full eaves height clearance and strategically positioning structural columns in coordination with the storage system design. Logistic professionals collaborated on the design and integration of these elements to ensure ergonomic and optimized operations.
